SA-2 Guideline

These are from a batch of models I finished last year.  First up is a SA-2 Guideline AA missile, complete with a 'Thin Skin' radar on a KRAZ lorry.  I'm pretty sure that SAMs are not painted white with red Thunderbirds-style nose-cones, but I couldn't resist!  Both models by CinC.

The S-75 is a favourite. Nice air defence network you have there.

I am pretty sure there is one at Duxford, and it was green.

That seems entirely plausible to me - you'll be telling the Russians don't have underground bunkers filled with chaps on golf carts next.

I think you're right - I'm sure there is one at Duxford. I'll have a look next time I'm there.

While I'm sure it is possible to carry a SA-2 on a golf cart, you porobably have to slow down quite a bit for the corners. But then, that's where the chrome-plated monorail comes in....

Tim just say they came right off the May Day parade on to the battlefield!
Bill has an entire unit of tanks in
15mm done up that way with gloss finish and white highlighting on the trim and road wheels...)

I like the May Day parade look, but I'm not sure I could carry it off in 6mm - I'll give it a try though.
