The Lavochkin is complete and is seen here in ‘flight’. I based the colour scheme loosely on the box art but had to replace some of the decals when the originals disintegrated in water.
Wow! Shiny. I want one. My RAF (Russian Air Force - OK, if you insist, my VVS)is significantly deficient, having just 1 1:72 Airfix Schturmovik made but unpainted, another still in its box after more than 10 years, and a single 1:144(?) scale toy MiG3. I confess to be unexcited, and therefore negligent, of the ground-air war.
But seeing a flash La7 like yours make me think to re-examine my attitude...
I tend to want to go underscale - for some reason I can't explain, they seem to 'go' better with 1:76 scale figures.

_Very_ pretty!
I look forward to seeing it fly over a wargames table somewhere near me.
Ooh yes, very pretty.
That looks great- certainly looks up to scratch.
Cheers,
Pete.

I tend to use underscale aircraft too - this fellow is destined to fly top cover over 1/32 figures.

Glad you feel I’ve done it justice - and thanks again for the kit!

Not a description often applied to the Soviet Air Force!

Thanks - I’m rather pleased with it!
A Very tidily finished model, Tim.

Thanks Chris. The lines are only wobbly close up!
