Overloon Museum - Arnhem

In a WW2 museum in Netherlands you are never far away from a Market Garden exhibit.  Which of course is no bad thing.
Above - para with AAMG - a Vickers I think.
Supply canister containing something more useful then spare berets
Recce Jeep
Door Knocker with Stielgranate 41 shaped charge ammo
The paving on my driveway looked pretty similar to this until recently...
6-pounder AT gun
and at last, here comes a Sherman.

Very timely. I'm reading Antony Beevor's new book on Arnhem. Really enjoying it.

The AA machine gun is a Bren with the very rare drum magazine....

More great pictures. This museum sure has a lot of kit on display.

I have the book but haven’t read it yet. I’ll take it next time we visit NL.

And how much do you want it?

There’s a crazy amount of kit there.
