Funny Little Wars game was played at the Sheffield club last month. Martin and I officiated while Lloyd and Steve commanded their own armies, aided and abetted by other club members. I have captioned the photos as well as my memory allows. Above are some of Lloyd's lancers seeking glory. Or death.

Looks like a great little battle!
Seeing the use of an elephant made me think of the famous quote about 'they could not hit an elephant at this distance.'

Some nice and interesting ideas in these pictures. I was wondering whether to add Schwarzland to my Azuria and Ruberia imagi-nations - I kinda like those pickelhaube-wearing soldiery. I ought to finish off the first two first, though, I guess. My Ruberian army is equipped with Gatling guns. Does anyone do a 1/76 scale mitrailleuse in plastic?

Sedgwick seems to have been a well regarded chap - but I might well have shot him myself in the end!
I can't find a millatreuse in 20mm, but HAT do both Gatling and Gardiner guns in their Sudan range.
We need photos of your toys.....
