Here is the finished Roland in my lazy version of German multi-colour hexagon dazzle camo.

Very effective camo look, terrific!

It may be lazy, but the camo is really effective

If the Dinah was my favourite WW2 Airfix kit, the Roland was my favourite WW1 plane. Haven't the faintest idea why!

It's terrific! Such an interesting aircraft and your "lazy" paint scheme is perfect. I've always felt that German aviators in the Great War had more fun in their snazzy planes - at least until the wings came off and they fell burning to the ground.

That looks lovely Tim.

Lazy, effective - there's really no downside!

Similar fuselage profile perhaps?

Thanks for your kind words. I do suspect that falling burning to the ground would take the shine off one's day.

Thanks - hopefully the enemy gunners will be so struck with admiration they won't shoot at it.

Thanks. Expect to see it in a game later this year.

Thanks - it looks better than it has any right to.

Wow, what a brilliant paint-job Tim. Mine won't be worth waiting for as I could not do half the job of yours (and I'm going for the simple blue-grey all over!).
