Overloon Museum - Post-WW2

The museum includes a small selection pf post-WW2 vehicles, to which I of course was draw as a moth to a flame.  An appropriate starting point is this locally-produced YP-408 APC.  I have had a soft spot for these 8-wheeled wonders since seeing one on TV in the 1970s.  And it appears I'm not alone - as this rather nice website goes to show - link.

Israeli M-51 Isherman
Challenger - basically a tall Cromwell with a 17pdr stuffed in the turret.

M-36 which appears to have arrived via the Balkans...
M-113 C&R, similar to the Canadian army's Lynx

Ex-DDR border guard Trabant
Centurion - ex-Dutch Army

T-55 with mine plough

A rare M-75 APC - what came before the M-59 which came before the M-113.

Nice pics Tim. Did you use the Brabant to take the wheels home?

'Brabant?' is that the little-known Dutch version?

Thanks!

Lovely, you don't see a Challenger every day. I think a number of M36s wrre used by the Croatians during the Balkan Wars in the 1990s.

I believe the M-36 was a souvenir of the 1990s conflict.
