The latest to shake off the dust of the Partizan ‘plane purchase (was it really two years ago?) is this BAC Strikemaster in RNZAF livery. Not sure what make it is but I know Matchbox made such a kit. Here in the UK this machine is more familiar as the RAF’s Jet Provost trainer so it’s unusual to see one looking so warlike. The Kiwis ordered Strikemasters in 1970 to replace Vampires. They remained in service until 1991.

That is great- if I was forced to pick a favourite light strike aircraft (not that I can really imagine that scenario) the Strikemaster would be up there....

Reminds me of the T37 Dragonfly used to see them over head all the time as there was an airbase close to my home as a kid.

Finding a use for it will be a challenge. But never say never......
Could use it in a version of Mirbat, back in Oman in 1972. Especially if you have 25pdr model.

Good idea - and plenty of 25pdrs! But I suspect the Sultan of Oman might not be happy about the Kiwi markings...
