Goody bag

It's been a good week for new stuff.  Not only did I return from COW with some books (no surprises there!) but my birthday produced even more books.  Just when it seemingly couldn't be any better a package arrived from Paul containing yet more goodies!
The 1/72 A7V gives me this beast in three scales!
The sprue of infantry turned out to be Italeri Japs, complete with a natty little gun.
The one legged ROCO 15cm gun will be combined with a similarly afflicted model to make a whole one.  It will be allocated to a German corps (or Korps?) - possibly quite soon!
The 1/2400 ship is as yet unidentified - any suggestions?
Finally, the bag of decals looks pretty useful.
Thanks again Paul - there will be a package of dodgy things heading your way ere long.....

A very mixed (goody) bag- look forward to seeing what you do with all of it?

Cheers,

Pete.

Hi Tim,

That is a good looking haul and no mistake! The A7V is a beast and a half and I have built a couple of them. I like the ship model - what scale would that be?

Many happy returns as well and try to avoid eating too much cake...;-)

All the best,

DC

PS I hope the book passed on from Bob was a suitable source of inspiration!

I might manage an update on the A7V as early as next week!

I think the ship is 1/2400 scale but the A7V is first in the queue! Thanks for the book - I've already begun reading it....

A fine looking grab bag - what are the infantry? Do some research on the AMC (assuming that's what it is).

Cheers and enjoy

The infantry are Esci Japs. Not all of my original text published but I've re typed it now!

I've always viewed the A7V as compellingly daft.
