Big name for a tiny tank

I picked up this set a few months ago as I had a (vague and as yet unrealised) idea for a game. As the photos suggest, the box contains the makings of three figures and two Goliaths, making it a pretty handsome buy for under £10.

Funny - I'm in the process of assembling the ESCI version - five figures but only the one tankini!

Wouldn't look too out of touch patrolling a park today - stick a sign on it telling people to keep 2m apart... or am I going mad in lockdown?

Can't wait to read about your game idea!

I bought a Revell Engineer set many years ago. It came with a couple of Goliath elements the operator and machine mounted on the same small stand. I quite like them as the basis for assault engineer units - especially for urban warfare. (The set was a pretty mixed bag, with assault boats, mines and mine layers, construction activities. Also early and late War uniforms).

Very nice- I always remember them in the iconic scene from the Kanal film.

Cheers,

Pete.

Was that a 1/72 set? I had it getting on for 30 years ago!

We’ll be fine unless the control wire breaks....
