Waterloo 200 game latest

With less than a week to go my preparations have reached fever pitch.  Rather worryingly I still have a couple of dozen figures awaiting paint.  More worryingly I only have a bit of time tonight and tomorrow night to finish the job!  Last night saw some progress with the boxing-up.
Here is the box containing gunners and (some of the) guns.  Accomplished Funny Little Wars artillerists may spot some of Forbodia's finest skulking at the back.  Their uniforms may be green but the figures are after all British Napoleonics - and that's close enough for this game.  They'll probably appear as KGL crews.
Er, guns.  Or at least the painted ones.  A heady mix of Armies in Plastic, Timpo and BMC.

So far the numbers of figures pledged by the ten participants participants are as follows:

French - 426 Infantry, 234 Cavalry, 17 Guns

Anglo-Dutch-German - 342 I, 92 C, 15 G

Prussian - 292 I, 91 C, 8 G

plus over 100 HQ and staff figures, gunners, wagons, limbers etc!

When planning the game, Bertrand and I spoke optimistically of bringing together 1,000 figures.  Including gunners the above comes to over 1,750.  In 1/32 scale.  Gosh!

The current lists can be found in the 'files' section of the Funny Little Wars Yahoo Group.

Let's hope the weather is better than the actual day!

As with the original, that may be a determining factor!
