Turning the tide - part 4

As the battle raged on both battalions of Forbodian Jagers closed in on the Naval battalion.  The pair of rather scruffy (and very old) trees had by now been dignified by the title of 'orchard'.
A Forbodian staff officer on horseback cheered his lads on.

On the other flank the cavalry were making life uncomfortable for the other sailors.
The presence of the Forbodian Brigadier made all the difference here.
Back at the orchard bitter fighting continued...
After a further round of combat the depleted forces looked like this.
The final round of melee finally killed off the sailors - but at considerable cost!  Remember those Jagers started off as two battalions of 10 figures each.
Soon it was all over and the Anglophobian prisoners were being escorted off to a life of ceaseless toil in the notorious Forbodian Lemon Drizzle Cake Mines....
And so ends another jolly FLW game, proving that it is possible to play a small but entertaining game on a surface the size of a dining table.  Or maybe I need to get out more.

Not the Lemon Drizzle Cake mines !!!
I've heard life is very harsh there. Forced labour. Starvation rations and it's so cold that prisoners stay alive by eating the icing off the . . . . . .

Oh yeah? Anytime you're in Forbodia you're welcome to try. If you can find it.

Word has it that the orchard had bitter fruit anyway.

Did the Forbodians ever figure out how they made it there? My money is one the Naval Air Service. Dirigible troop transports gliding in at night.I want to see that game!

It did look like it being possible to have fun in a small space. But that's not mutually exclusive is it?

I have it on good authority that they made their way via various European water ways using Cockle Shells !!!
