Daft dice

My Triples purchases conclude with these ridiculous dice.  Other than not having bought any silly dice for ages I can't explain why I bought any of them...
D6 and D10 - in French!
Probability dice.  Probably a good idea.
And finally - the dog dice!  Who thinks of these things?

It's always good to have more dice, you never know when you might need them. I managed to use my D30 once :)

I funded a dice rings kickstarter some months ago, and apparently my reward (three rings) arrived today, so I'll get a chance to try them tonight.

Actually I like the probability die. Good for using with Mythic.

Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant, but how the hell does 6 show-poodles beat 4 ferrets!

I already own a goodly quantity of dice - including quite a few oddities - maybe I need to write a post on dice?

Search me - it just seemed like a good idea at the time. Well not even then really..

I've finally managed to get a D32.

I haven't yet found a blank D30 though.

I feel your pain Nigel...

The need came about from thoughts on alternative "average" dice - an average D4 can be made from a D6 numbered 1,2,2,3,3,4. An average D6 from a D12 numbered 1,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,5,5,6. An average D8 from a D20 1,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,4,5,5,5,5,6,6,6,7,7,8. A similar average D10 could be made from a blank D30.

I think the 'average' D6 based on a D12 may actually be usefu but the others are of theoretical interest.

Lol Tim, if the dog dice had Great Danes or Rottweilers on them, I'd have bought some too! :)

Probability dice would be useful in the classroom as we look at it in maths...
