Quiralu Great War French MG team

Part of the loot from the Paris toy soldier show, these Quiralu aluminium castings were in desperate need of a repaint. As luck would have it, desperate paintwork is the only kind I can manage, so here they are after some rapid brushwork.

They’re quite chunky lads, so a good match for my existing Armies in Plastic and Mokarex French figures.

That paintwork looks fine, and they are rarely seen castings in the uk, so adding to their interest.

Although I liked the original paint on the machine-gunner, these look great! Is it me, or does the gunner's face have a look of "They better increase my wine ration after this"?

They look good Tim. Be good provide a sold base of fire.

Cheers,

Pete.

Excellent figures Tim and your "desperation" paint job looks quite good! Well done!

Thanks. Having realised what they are I’m wondering if I should have bought more! Ah well, next time.

Thanks - they fit in well with my other 1916 French.
