Limp Lysander - part 1

The victor (by a huge margin) in my most recent poll*, work has now commenced on the Airfix Lysander.  Unfortunately this burst of democracy had infected the model and the wings were making determined efforts to secede from the union....
Much clamping and glueing followed, and a few small bits were also reattached.  The prop will go on later.  As with the Lancaster and Mossie the windows are about as transparent as those on a 1980s Network Southeast train, so they too will be painted over.
Once the glue dries I'll deal with the rather alarming gaps between the fuselage halves...

* The full results were as follows:
In fourth place with 1 vote (3% of the total) was the unloved Bf-109G
In third place with 2 votes (7%) was the Fw-190
In second place with 4 votes (14%) was te Hurricane IID
Which made the Lysander a clear winner with a massive 20 votes (74%)!

Look out for another poll starting soon.

Going by those numbers it's clear that 'Skipper 'ates Gerries!'.

That's all very well but the Jerries will need doing soon!

I had trouble with the Lysander too as the clear canopy plastic did not want to play ball with the other plastic
I tried Clearfix but used Superglue in the end

I too resorted to superglue in the end.
