Montay-Neuvilly - European Road Trip Day 2, Part 1

This was a nice little cemetery near Le Cateau.
 
The mostly British graves were let in with a few nameless Germans.  I think this is a nice touch - what you you think?


We visited this location for a reason.  Pvt. McEwen was the grandfather of the lady who sometimes looks after our dog.  Killed 11 days before the armistice, poor chap.


Despite it's quiet location, this cemetery is next to a field of inquisitive cows - which brings a pleasing bit of life.
