Ghastly Gustav - part 2

The Bf-109G is looking a bit better under a coat of paint.  I applied a pretty basic camo pattern - green on green splinter on the wings and a mottled effect on the fuselage.
I am continually surprised by the small size and general daintiness of the '109 - this kit feels considerably less substantial than say, the Hurricane or Fw190 I recently completed.
While the green paint dries it's off to the decal box to find some suitable markings.

Looking suitably nasty Tim.

I too have been surprised about the actual size of the 109 and now its short range makes sense.

I expect the pilot will soon be cursing me for chucking the drop tank in the spares box...
