WMD found in desert!

As well as the KGB chaps mentioned previously, the other oddity I painted in the same batch as the Air Assault Brigade was this SS-21 'Scarab' tactical nuke launcher.  There is such a lot of detail on this splendid model that I opted for a plain green finish with a fairly light weathering (oil wash and drybrush), the better to show it off.
While smaller than a Scud (maybe that's why it took so long to find...) this is still a sizeable model - the hexes in the photo are 10cm across.

that was the problem...the WMD were in the only grass covered spot in the desert...no wonder!

Nice looking model btw, great detail for 6mm!

Now you need a dozen more and a parade ground!

Maybe the spilled rocket fuel makes the grass grow?

Careful what you wish for! I do have another two waiting to meet a paintbrush...
