Austro-Hungarian preparations for the 32nd Battle of the Isonzo
Not to be outdone the Austrians prepare their own artillery. Both guns are very old (pre-WW2?) tinplate models with rather rusty spring mechanisms. And both are far too fragile to fire!

Those are some fearsome looking guns!
The wheels on the right-hand gun look wells suited for moving up steep grades.

This project is going great guns so far!
I am glad we supported by what appear to be 380mm guns! The rim shoes on the right hand gun are fabulous.

I have made modest improvements since I acquired it - the wheels had been painted gold!
Both sides are bringing out the big guns for this one. You are building expectation nicely.
