Austro-Hungarian preparations for the 32nd Battle of the Isonzo
Not to be outdone the Austrians prepare their own artillery. Both guns are very old (pre-WW2?) tinplate models with rather rusty spring mechanisms. And both are far too fragile to fire!
John Y I think there will be deployed far behind the lines! But you're right about the 'shoes' on the larger gun - all pivoted and an absolute delight to roll along. Er, so I'm told by a friend...
Those are some fearsome looking guns!

This project is going great guns so far!

Both sides are bringing out the big guns for this one. You are building expectation nicely.
