Pip pip!

Wg Cdr Luddite has sent me this photo of a recently completed aircraft model.  This one depicts 'Pips' Priller, Geschwader Kommodore JG26 on his trip over Sword Beach on D Day. FW190A-6 by Leading Edge, 1:285 metal casting.

Nicely painted model but the canopy doesn't look quite the right colour for me!

It's a while since I last painted a model such as this but I would probably try and blend in the canaopy to the rest of the airframe.

Nice job. At that scale I am amazed to see so much detail so well painted.

Excellent - and much neater than my 15mm offerings!

Thank you all.

It isn't apparent on the photo but the canopy is actually a satin finish which looks really good against the overall matt.
