Me and the Farmer - part 1
To balance the strengthened 1/72 Israeli airforce I dug out this venerable KP MiG-19. Like most KP kits it was quick but mildly horrible to build.

(Another) Israeli Skyhawk
In preparation for the Gnuston Heights game next month my rather nice Skyhawk has been joined by another. I'm not sure what make the original is - Fujimi perhaps - but this new model is the venerable and rather basic Airfix kit. Whatever it's shortcomings though, it goes together well - not bad for a kit originally released in 1958!

Going through the Mill
I have a load of photos from a trip to the Netherlands last September - here are the first of them. The small town of Mill lies a few km south of Nijmegen and was the scene of a 2-day battle in 1940
This pillbox was part of the Peel-Raam Line built in 1939.
Nearby is a relic from a slightly later campaign - a splendid Ram Kangaroo.

This particular bunker contains mannequins in Dutch uniforms crewing a machine gun.
Not all of the dummies were inside....Nearby is a relic from a slightly later campaign - a splendid Ram Kangaroo.
