The
Revell Stuka is now complete, and it's not bad at all. I opted for a basic but 'clean' green over pale blue scheme and used the markings from the kit - along with swastikas from the decal box.
Painting the cockpit framing was a bit involved but the kit presented no real problems.

Knowing the German penchent for nicknames, it's surprising that the Stuka was never called a Gewächshaus (Greenhouse). Proper job, Tim!

This put me in mind of a Dinky (or was it Corgi) toy I had as a kid. A diecast Stuka. Must have taken you ages to do the canopy, nice work Tim.

There was a Dinky Stuka - in 1/72 scale - with a mechanism for dropping it's bomb. Usually to the accompaniment of neeee-oooowwww sound effects. Or so I'm told...
