Super Sabre? F-100D part 2

Here is the completed '100.  I really like the look of this aircraft and clearly remember seeing Danish F-100s over Scotland in the late '70s(?).  So I may yet build a Danish Sabre. It this one, as can be seen for the photos is now in French service.  The overall spray of silver was as per the Lightning I completed recently (actually I painted them both at the same time...) and I finished the thing off with a set of French markings from a Matchbox Mystere kit.  So cheap - the kit cost less than £2 and the markings were effectively free - and reasonably cheerful.
Coming soon to a garden Wargame near this blog....

No bronze...Shame.

It looks very clean and sharp.

Good skills.

How do the decals go with the sliver spray. Always have trouble with the application on silver for some reason...

No problem (so far...) with decals!

Very smart. Lucky for the French to get something so shiny.

It'll keep them going until I build a Mirage!

Thanks - I always liked the look of it.

Superb! When I get a bit better at modelling I fancy doing some of the earlier French jets. I remember having a lot of problems doing silver on the couple of jests I've done so far...Very difficult so I applaud your lovely F-100!

It was cheap to but and quick to build - maybe that's where you are going wrong......
Just kidding - we all have our standards, mine are just lower.
