Cold War playtest - part 2

The Greenie tanks roll forward
Even at 'only' 1/50 scale they are quite intimidating!
Seizing an opportunity the Striker fires a Swingfire AT missile.  I met a guy once who'd served in a Swingfire-equipped unit with BAOR in the 1980s.  AT that time each missile cost about the same as a new VW Golf GTi...(currently c£27,000)
Greenie gunners soon had the defenders under fire.  Just as well they were in cover!
The mortar scored a near miss on the Scorpion.
The Golf, er, Swingfire scores a hit on the AMX.  Is this the end of the Greenie attack?  Stay tuned for the next post...

Possibly. I'm hoping to run more playtests in the next month or so...

More goodies- would it help to say I'm working on some 1/35th terrain items of my own?

Cheers,

Pete.

Well it would have been nice to see done Herald Khaki and Enemy infantry but green and tan armymen are the new old school and the toys look like they're having fun.

I wonder if my old Britain's BAT still fires.

I expect we can find work for some of your terrain...

Rest assured that the crappy plastic figures are only standing in until I paint something a bit better!

I'm very interested in this project - needing a little oomph to continue my own FLW (Jono's World) project. Although I have my own (OS/1BC) rule set, I'd be interested in having a crack at yours...
