Teutonian invasion of Norfolk game report - part 6

Here are the last of the photos from this splendid game.  Above is a bored sentry guarding the Teutonian HQ.
Something of a surprise was the appearance of a battalion of Teutonians in Highland dress...

...and undress!

Tinnish gunners were soon laying down a barrage which can only be described as....ineffectual...

All of the photos in these reports were taken by famed Forbodian reporter Mat Bradic -
Official photographer to the Court of King Boris.
A pair of Teutonian gunboats maintained a distant and only occasionally accurate barrage.

It has to be said - the Tinlanders were by far the best drilled army.
Tinnish colonial troops showed great courage during the fighting.

An overview of the game from the Tinnish side.

This Teutonian battery position changed hands several times.  Here lancers attempt to eject Tinnish Gurkhas.

Some of the bitterest fighting was at the railway halt....

...but the Tinnish Highland Brigade won the day!

In an attempt to clamp down on the previously free press, Teutonian troops rounded up several local newspaper sellers.
Here is an all too typical firing squad.
It remains only for me to thank David and Julian again for such a splendid day out.  Let's do it again soon chaps!

I'm afraid this post just reinforces the impression that it was jolly good fun.

I've very pleased to see that our female representative is displaying the correct mode of nether-garments (or lack of them) for kilt use! :)

Splendid report.

That last picture goes far to explain the pallid pusillanimity of the modern Press.

That whole affair looks like huge fun. It's a joy to scroll through the pics.

Did they manage to shoot Pierce Morgan by any stroke of luck?

Only completely accurate figures were allowed on the table. None of mine then....

It also explans the lack of news from Norfolk of late. Or it may be that nothing much happens there...

'Fraid not - due either to lamentable gun accuracy or the fact that TV hadn't been invented....

The Tuetonians in Highland dress had me thinking of Otto Skorzeny.
