Red Star Express

My recently completed batch of 20mm Soviet vehicles included these lorries.  They will probably end up as part of an Army level LOG column.  The fuel tanker is a plastic kit of East European origin while the other lorry is a die cast toy.

This is the one thing that disappoints me about my building my Finnish army using the Rapid Fire! rules - they don't really include a lots of support vehicles. Of course there's nothing stopping me making them just for my own pleasure...

Your fuel truck look absolutely superb!

You have hit upon one of the design precepts of Megablitz. Get lots of daft toys on the table....

My resistance to Megablitz is on its last legs......I may as well give in, eh?

The tanker looks like a really handy model, Tim.

Given your proven love for daft toys (and cake...) I can safely say that further resistance is futile!

Nothing daft about the logistics side of things, and these pair are the very best of Soviet design.

Nice work all around Tim.

Thanks - just the usual dry rush over black treatment.
