In my recent post on my much appreciated 'free' Yamato, I hinted that there was worse to come. So here it is. As less numerically challenged readers will already have gathered from the photo above, I actually now have five of these battlewagons! Only two were completed as battleships (and a third as a carrier). Though this state of affairs may cause weaker souls some anguish, I am suffering no loss of sleep. Working all five into a game may be a bit of a challenge. But don't rule it out. Any volunteers to be on the other side? Actually five of the class were planned so I'm only bending history a bit.
From left to right are the 'new' 50p Triang Minic model, a near-mint version of the same, two balsa scratchbuilds (see here) and one flung together from the Revell plastic kit.

The hit markers are all hand carved from antique ivory. But I agree they can look a bit like golf tees in a certain light!

Tim, self-help groups are available for this sort of addiction. They are called "local wargames clubs". :O)
