More French tanks

To address the relative dearth of tank pics which have graces these pages recently, here is a trio of Ian R-L's splendid stcratchbuit Hotchkiss H-39s.  These are from the days (not so long ago!) when it wasn't possible to buy French light tanks (apart from the Matchbox FT-17) at any price.
Although they are rather overscale (the real ones are surprisingly tiny) it is pretty obvious what they are and as such their place on my shelves is secure for many years to come.

Ah the H-39... an old favourite from World of Tanks, where it was a cheap yet utterly broken Tier 2 Premium tank. Those were the days.

Great little tanks. I hope to scratchbuild some of these in 1/32nd scale one day.

Fine scratchbuilds! There is something about scratchbuilt vehicels - when they are well done, yet obviously scratchbuilt - that adds a character that you just don't get with kits. let alone 'finished' models. Those H39s have character in spades. Very nice AFVs, and would deserve their place on any wargamer's shelf/battlefield.

Not my work Al - which explains why they're so good!
