1/1200 Fleet Review - Kriegsmarine

Following on from my RN fleet are the baddies in the shape of the Kriegsmarine.  A small but powerful fleet, this includes:
1 Battleship (Revell Bismarck)
5 Battlecruisers (all Gneisenau/Scharnhorst - 4 Revell)
2 Cruisers (Airfix Hipper)
5 Torpedo Boats (various metal models)
1 Destroyer (MY metal 1936 Type)
And yes, I know there weren't that many Scharnhorsts.  I think they were cheap.  Or something.

Hi Tim,

"Impressive....most impressive!" You can never have too many Scharnhorsts in my opinion....;-)

All the best,

DC

Maybe - but five might be enough even for me!

Now you know why the RN hides in it's box most of the time!

Tim,

That's a lot of battle cruisers ... but not much else!

All the best,

Bob

A nice wee strike force. I think that given your choices Scharnhorsts are a good pick.

Refight the Falklands 1940's style!

There are in fact 200+ U-boats in the photo, but they're all submerged.....

I'm really not sure how I managed to build so many Scharnhorsts - the worst of it is, I have more of them in 'stock'....
