Who dares wins?

More frivolity in 54mm now.  These chaps are from the Airfix SAS set.  Being clad from head to toes in black makes them pretty easy to paint - the only 'colour' being the coils of rope - remember this set was originally released in the aftermath of the Iranian embassy siege!  Just for the hell of it I painted the weapons and webbing in dark grey.
Sorry about the hastily posed photos, and for the brooding presence of my 'Sgt.Yuk' DIVAD in the background, but it's been a busy week.

Fantastic - they look great. Question is what are all their names?

Cheers,

Pete.

These formidable looking chaps would appear to be the perfect choice to carry out a daring if not near suicidal mission.

With their consummate training, concealment skills and first rate equipment, they could abseil down wargames table legs. Make their way across vast floor areas avoiding detection by vicious guard dogs and injury from passing carpet slippers. They could climb chair legs, office desks, curtains and other obstacles in order to gain access to filing cabinets, desk drawers or high bookshelves in order to retrieve vital intel on the build up of German forces prior to the upcoming Tannenberg game.

Yes the mission, should they choose to accept it would be titled –

“The hunt for the missing flash stick.”

It might even make a good film, book or blog post ☺

Ah! No, in my usual cak handed, almost comedy way, I was referring to Fireman Fred et al. :-)
