Admiral on Deck!

My Funny Little Wars Naval Brigade now has a new CO in the shape of this rather snappily attired chap.
He actually began life in the Italeri Napoleonic command set - hence his rather retro outfit.
His rather mad staring eyes may be explained by the rather tight looking trousers...

I have been trying to think of a name for my British-style fictional country.  The best I've come up with so far is The Empire of Anglophobia.    Any other thoughts?

The Anglocentric Isles perchance?

Island of Sodor?

The citizens of which are known as Sodormites.

Anglophilia might be a bit better than Anglophobia.

Perchance. I'll add it to the short list.

SAROE
I'll not use it for this particular country, but don't rule out its appearing in future....

As a Scot I must disagree!

Isle of Wrightangle?

Again - I might well use that in future.

Apologies, as usual my thoughts are a little left field and I've just come in... (there is a reason behind each of these), but here we go anyway:-

> Brittunculi Isles

> Rosbif

> Beatific Isles

Coming in late, as I've been away for a few days, must contest Saroe';s comment. According to the eminent authority on the Isle of Sodor, Rev.W.Awdry, in his book 'The Island of Sodor, its people, history and railways; then the inhabitants of Sodar are known as Sudrians.

lol, I used a similar looking figure for my WW1 German collection, Divisional Commander no less :)

The same figure is the proud commander of my Vulgarians (who bear a distinct resemblance to 1870 era Prussians).

The Italieri Command Set is brilliant value. I even found a use for the portly guard figure. (a medic, pity my poor wounded chaps..)
