Wargame Developments at Triples 2014

Rather belatedly - here are a few photos of WD's participation game 'Doodlebuggers' as played at Triples last weekend.  All taken on my iphone before we had any players - this was around 0730 on the Saturday morning!  Over the two days we had about 45 players.
The rather nice map.  This was based on an original wartime map added 'atmosphere' to the game.  Thanks are due to Kayte, Jerry and Sara for their part in this.

The trusty Spitfire XIV stalks a V-1 over Essex.
The Tempest V in similar pose.
This chap needed our paper DFC to finish off his uniform!

Hi Tim,

Looks like an interesting game - I noticed the Spitfire in the picture is positioned very closely to where I live (Southend is just up the road!).

I have some 15mm V1s crying out for use in a similar vein so would be keen to see the rules at some point.

All the best,

DC

The er, 'rules' will appear in Nugget - the journal of Wargame Developments - later this year. http://www.wargamedevelopments.org/join.htm

Tim Gow I read that the rules were to be published in Nugget according to David Crook in his comment above. However, I could not find anything other than an offside report in a 2014 NUGGET. Were the rules ever published in NUGGET (or anywhere else?). Thought I'd give it ago.
Regards
Mike
