The French rush up a horse battery. Clearly electric horses were all the rage in 1815.
The Emperor and his staff queueing for the bar at La Belle Alliance. Rumours persist that Marshal Joffre (c1914) was sighted in the area looking very confused.

This was the target used for infantry fire. The number of matchsticks fired varied according to range and quality. A hit on a figure caused two hits, on the template one hit.

La Haye Sainte was defended by 2nd Light Btl, King's German Legion....
...which also garrisoned the sand quarry. A triumph of modelling, this featured genuine sand.

It's official - you do sillier things than I do! Blucher's jacket, tie and Panama hat were nice touches. Where was the event held, it looks fairly public. Did you attract any attention from the public, press or local loony bins?
