Alpha Jet - part 3
Here is the completed A-J - resplendent in Luftwaffe markings and destined for a career in the low-level strike business. These 'in flight' photos were hurriedly posed in the garden but since then the thing has been used in a game! Photos of that coming soon.
The kit did include a set of Luftwaffe markings but they dissolved in water! Luckily I had some more or less suitable spares though they were a bit yellowed with age. Still, it all turned out OK in the end.

Well done. I never manage to get the pilots painted without making a complete mess of the canopy.

I paint the model and pilots in parallel and then apply the decals and varnish the thing. Only then do I glue on the canopy, having painted the framing while the varnish was drying. Just don't look too closely.....
Very nice Tim. Really like the Luftwaffe splinter camo.
That looks great Tim, must dig out the old Alfred Price book.
Cheers,
Pete.
Very nice indeed Tim.

Funny how some things stay the same....

The Central Front book? I recently re-read it.

Thanks - more black crosses coming soon...
Yeah that's the one. Red Thrust had an air to air chapter too IIRC.
Cheers,
Pete.
That does look nice!

Thanks - I am rather pleased with it!
