Forbodian Army manoeuvres at Knuston

My recent post about the Forbodian Army's appearance on a book cover reminded me that I had a few more photos of the manoeuvres which were held on the Knuston Proving Grounds at this year's COW.  Given that these were taken in early July, the delay in posting them is inexplicable!
The Jager Regiment surges forward - aided by my experimental movement bases.  I managed to get the flags designed and printed just before the event!
Brave gunners man a newly acquired 4.7 inch Naval gun.
The Cordequayan Army which accepted King Boris's invitation to the manoeuvres.
Bob's Cordeguayans are mostly made up of Britains Deetail figures.
The Forbodians lined up for photographic purposes.
King Boris and his staff can be seen with his guard and Rolls-Royce motor car.  The wagon was a new acquisition, and the mountain gun on the right was stunningly effective.

Capital! I especially love the transport. but there is something about the Jager's purple fez's that stirs the blood.

Thanks. The wagon was a very late arrival. Good to know that a purple fez hits the spot for you!

Thanks - it was a real delight to see them all arrayed on the table.

Hi Tim,

Very impressive - King Boris appeared to be on fine form!

Love the 4.7" naval gun - none of that screw gun nonsense - proper artillery!

All the best,

DC

The 4.7s look very impressive, but the little mountain gun was the deadliest weapon on the table.
