ASU-57 air portable assault gun - part 2

Remember my 1/43 scale ASU?  If so, you will have noticed that I completely forgot about it!  Anyway, the thing was completed a while ago so here it is in all it's tiny glory.

It really is tiny - here for comparison is a Dinky Leopard is more or less the same scale.

Turned out nice Tim, though I don't fancy its chances against the Leopard, the 57mm will do little more than tickle it....

Cheers,

Pete.

Cute wee thing Tim. Nice turn out.

I imagine man-portable AT missiles killed off this idea. It looks like it's a completely different scale! Very nice job though, Tim.

Nice, including a crew?

We may have to put that to the test sometime...

Actually it was replaced by the ASU-85 with, as the name suggests, an 85mm gun.

Steady on! I'll not be adding crew - not least because this is a 1/43 models which will be used with 1/32 figures....

Ooh I don't know, Leopard 1 only had 40mm side armour and even the front was only 70mm (albeit steeply sloped).

True - but at least the Leopard is rain proof!
