Little Guards

These chaps were part of a substantial eBay purchase earlier this year.  Indeed such was the size of this er, investment, that my half of  it provided all of the infantry and most of the cavalry for my early 20th Century British army.
The bandsmen are Britains metal figures...
...while these chaps are a mix of metal and plastics.
Let's ignore the fact that the rifles are SLRs shall we?

If they'd had SLRs they'd have used them......

Tim,

I have some very similar figures but I repainted the trousers so that they now look more like the Danish Life Guard regiment. I need to add some gunners so that I can field a small infantry brigade.

All the best,

Bob

I also did mine as Danish Lifeguards, they are the Vulgarian Liebstandarte. They kept their SLRs:)

I expect the chaps are just planning ahead!

Why not convert some riflemen for gunners?
