Our old chum Wg Cdr Luddite has sent me photos of some 1/285 scale GHQ aircraft he is working on as part of a commission. First up we have an F-4 Phantom in what looks to me like 'Nam era markings and laden with under wing unpleasantness.
I have a (Well 5 or 6) 1/144 F4E on the bench at the moment to repaint, but after seeing yours Wing Commander I do not think I will bother. It would be downright embarrassing to compare.

Ooooooo...That's lovely. Cannot believe the quality of this at such a minute scale!
Amazing work from the wing commander!
Now that is nice.
Cheers,
Pete.
Looks gorgeous.
Someone once told me that the Phantom proved that you could make a brick aerodynamic by strapping a big enough engine to it.
It still looks lovely.
Thanks for the kind comments.
Even with all that thrust behind it, I still wouldn't exactly call a Phantom aerodynamic though!
