Regular readers may recall my multi-post report on the hitherto little known Teutonian invasion of Tinland. My sources inform me that the campaign will continue over the coming weekend at Triples. The photo which I reproduce by kind permission of Obst-Gen. Von Hotzenplotz himself shows the said gentleman(?) inspecting his pointy-helmeted hordes.
Volunteer gunners are sought at Triples for firing matchsticks at the enemy...

Have a splendid time at Triples and I await the photos/battle report with great enthusiasm...
ReplyDeleteNo matter how war like Teutonians
ReplyDeleteare they will be out done by the Tinlanders, thanks to their moral support officer in the pith (and nothing else) helmet!
On my way down tomorrow. Persuaded Mrs H with the promise of a drop off at meadowhall en route. Havent been since the octagon days. Excited!

ReplyDeleteOnce the show is up and running I'll mostly be running Wargame Developments' Ten Rounds Rapid game, but I'm sure there will be opportunities to take photos, interfere with the FLW game and spend money!

ReplyDeleteYou mean Captain Kitoff?

ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing you there!
Home from Triples. Didn't say hi Tim, I think from your photo on the blog I spotted you running a wd game with a couple of visitors and you were alongside a brilliant funny little ears game ( loved the war artist fig. Disappointed that modern camera chap was alongside him!) feedback on triples. Much better than the octagon days. Good big main room, very friendly demo games ( alongside yourselves the bolt action chaps were funny and the mad max guys costumes brilliant) very friendly folk on the door. Brilliant trade presence - I spent far too much on toys and terrain!) pat on the back to all involved, doesn't happen by accident, I will return! Great day. Well done all - oh and Mrs H loved meadowhall!!
