Like last week's gun emplacement, this used to be a bit of packaging destined for the bin.
Some days later, and after the application of a breadknife, paint and Tamiya sandbags, I now have a 2-foot trench section to entertain some of my 54mm toy soldiers.
oooh that turned out really well - well done. Perfect scale for the troops.
ReplyDeleteI may have to start looking at the Christmas packaging again :)
Looks good. Now I'm wondering what I've thrown away that might have been useful.
ReplyDeleteDid you paint the backdrop? I like it.
Good to see you've been carving more than the turkey with the breadknife over the holiday!
ReplyDeleteMrs. Kinch always tells me I belong on one of those hoarders programmes. Always glad to see I will be in good company.
ReplyDeleteCreacking work Tim- the sandbags make it look almost homely.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pete.

ReplyDeleteWe all chuck out lots of useful stuff - but we all still have a load of crap left!

ReplyDeleteI'll leave turkey carving to the expert.

ReplyDeleteSadly Mrs K is all too correct...

ReplyDeleteThe sandbags increased the cost of the project from about £0.75 (PVA and paint) to nearly £2.
Excessive French spending on the Maginot Line was the ruin of them. I'd be careful Tim.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pete.
