Digging in

Like last week's gun emplacement, this used to be a bit of packaging destined for the bin.
Some days later, and after the application of a breadknife, paint and Tamiya sandbags, I now have a 2-foot trench section to entertain some of my 54mm toy soldiers.

    oooh that turned out really well - well done. Perfect scale for the troops.

    I may have to start looking at the Christmas packaging again :)

    Looks good. Now I'm wondering what I've thrown away that might have been useful.

    The sandbags increased the cost of the project from about £0.75 (PVA and paint) to nearly £2.

    Excessive French spending on the Maginot Line was the ruin of them. I'd be careful Tim.
