My trio of M-113s is complete. Here they are during field* testing in the company of an M-60A1
Finished as US Army vehicles, they have fallen victim to my version of the MERDC camo scheme.
The vehicles are 1/48 scale - here they are with some 1/35 scale Tamiya infantry.
* Garden actually, but who's counting?
They have come out really nice Tim. Certainly look the part.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pete.
They look like they mean business. Great bodges!
ReplyDeleteNice box-o-grunts, very convincing looking!
ReplyDeletePete
ReplyDeleteThanks - the camo paint hides quite a lot!

ReplyDeleteThanks - I suppose I'd better make some more!

ReplyDelete'Box-o-grunts'? Not that you have anything against infantry...
WOW! These look fantastic. The MERDC really does them justice. I was a bit skeptical when I saw the pics of the polyurethane being cut - but they have turned out beautifully.
ReplyDeleteReally good job sir. A steady hand, a decent knife and patience, really does them justice.

ReplyDelete"A steady hand, a decent knife and patience."
Hmm. The only one I have is the decent knife....
Ticks all the boxes, Tim; they look like a proper shop-bought one at a distance, but you can see the hand-crafting close up.
ReplyDeleteRegards, Chris.
Now that is a outstanding bodge ! MERDC looking top notch.
ReplyDeleteFull marks Tim
Yeah, agreed, I reckon the paintwork looks great
ReplyDeleteChris Kemp
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris - if they were too good they might not offend people!

ReplyDeleteI am rather pleased with them - but now I need to build more....

ReplyDeleteLike I said above, camouflage hides a lot!
