Behold the latest product of my fevered imagination! While building sensible things like infantry regiments for next month's Waterloo game it occurred to me that a degree of frivolity was required - just in case I was thought to be taking it all too seriously.
Suitable crew figures were sourced in the shape of the Armies in Plastic Royal Horse Artillery set while the launching frames were built from plastic tube and scrap balsa.
We join our intrepid crew now, outside an all too familiar Belgian inn...
Another rocket is quickly loaded, but....
The end.
Excellent use of imagination and scrap. May your rockets always hot and the beer cold.
ReplyDelete"I say, they'll give those Froggies a fright, what?"
ReplyDeleteGreat work Tim- the stomp rocket flies again....
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pete.

ReplyDeleteBuilding this nonsense has certainly 'lightened the load' of amassing the 'proper' troops for Waterloo.

ReplyDeleteThey may do. I'm sure as hell scared.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you can see the er, 'logic' of this...
Swishy shocking snooty things - what's not to like? Looks great. I hope the landlord doesn't mind that lot scaring his customers!

ReplyDeleteI believe the landlord gave them free beer to make them go away...
