Big Guards

Following on from my 1/32 scale Guards are these 1/1 scale versions I spotted during a recent visit to Windsor.  I wish I could paint 'em this well!

    I think someone has painted their jackets the wrong colour. The Britains ones are much brighter.

    Those are really good. They almost look real.

    I'm not sure this lot had been varnished properly. Just as well it was a dry day!

    And did you notice how I started with 15mm figures and gradually increased the scale to 54mm to give the impression of closeness?
