Two weeks ago I took delivery of the weighty plastic crate and have now had time to have a rummage through the contents. There are around 200 figures of the plastic army men variety in scales from 40mm to 54mm, a number of vehicles and a load of terrain bits. And bizzarely a couple of trebuchets.
I can use most of the vehicles and have sorted around 80 figures and some terrain - the rest will be on the bring & buy at COW a week on Friday!
The cost of this box of delights? A massive £8......
Nice Platoon of M48's there Tim.

ReplyDeletePlatoon? Each one represents a platoon!
A fine Squadron of M48s there, Tim... Most of that stuff looks handy for something. Give of take the trebuchets...
ReplyDeleteDaft and genius all in one go. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteLots of useful stuff in there. I was going to go trawling round town today for similar stuff but I got distracted with books....
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pete.

ReplyDeleteI think you sum it up rather well.

ReplyDeleteFair point. Although if you had a big enough howitzer....

ReplyDeleteLet me know if you want any dodgy plastic figures.
I'm pretty sure I have one of those M48's painted up as an Ork tank around somewhere from a decade+ ago. It looks like you've got a Tiger and some other tank with the turrets switched. What's the other than supposed to be?

ReplyDeleteThe other small green tank is vaguely Sheridan-esque. Very vaguely...
There comes a point in time where you just end up saying "fuck it, I'll use a Transformer". It seems to be happening a lot of late.
