We return now to 'somewhere in West Germany' (in 1979) just in time to see the French launching HOT (above)...
...and Entac AT missiles.
Meanwhile the Forbodian tanks clank ever westwards - until....
...where the hell did they come from Comrades?
As things turn out the new-fangled HOT is a dud while the trusty old Entac helps to keep PT-76 numbers in check.
Coming next - how will the Forbodians react?
I imagine for the missiled PT-76 staff it will be: quickly.

ReplyDeleteForbodians with quick reactions? I wouldn't count on it.
"...how will the Forbodians react?"
ReplyDeleteExtremely badly I would imagine! lots of cursing and swearing... dirty, glowering looks at each other... watching your tanks being blown up does tend to bring out the worst in people!
Of course Forbodian doctrine has written down in black and white how to go about dealing with this sort of thing. All they have to do is look it up in the 1,748-page manual 'Forbodia Army Manual: Book Of Operational Methods'. It's on page 256... or hang on, isn't it page 711...? It's in there somewhere!
ReplyDeleteThis tome is popularly called by the acronym of its subtitle, of course...

ReplyDeleteI can tell you've met a few Forbodians!

ReplyDeleteThat book sounds like a best seller! And before anyone else corrects you I should point out that the correct page is of course p872, section 2, subsection 5, paragraph 3.
Which edition of the manual are you using?
ReplyDeleteXaltotun of Python
ReplyDeleteThe 1978 revised edition of course. I'm surprised you need to ask....
