Those BMC figures grow on you don't they? When my daughter was wee (about three) she spotted in a supermarket some AWI figures that she thought Dad would like for his 'wargamings'. I didn't really know what to do with them until about 15 years later ...
Now I have about 30 figures a side. The Black Guys (Hessians?) I thought were meant to be Brit Grenadiers, and were painted according. Also two mounted officers (Maj. Horatio Stiles and Col Banastre Mirleton). 1 cannon and 1 mortar...

ReplyDeleteI reckon those BMC figures are ideal for what you will be using them for - they really look the part - and are pretty cheap to come by as well.
Much to ponder methinks - but not anytime soon!
