Winter Aircraft Project - The Flypast!

Here they all are then, by popular demand.  The 1/72 version of Luftflotte von Gow in all it's dubious glory.

Airfix Avro Anson I
Airfiv Avro Lancaster
Airfix Bristol Blenheim IVF in Portuguese colours.
Airfix Westland Lysander
Airfix Hawker Hurricane IID
Airfix DH Mosquito
Airfix Supermarine Spitfire IX
Airfix Focke-Wulf FW-190D
Airfix Messerschmitt Bf-109G
FROG Supermarine Spitfire XIV.  Not strictly part of the WAP but near enough.
FROG V-1 Flying Bomb.  Ditto.
And finally - this Morane MS-406 pictured here with it's contemporaries is a pre-finished model which arrived from Don M while the project was underway.

  3. Quite an airforce you have there! I particularly loked the camo on that French thing. It strikes me that the French had a colourful way with camo on vehicles as well as aircraft...

  8. Nice one, Tim, but, sadly not a single bi-plane, which I know are rather fiddly etc.

They certainly take up a lot more space than 1/144.....

  17. Hmm, bombing raid on a Doodlebug launcher? Would require a large licence to explain the variety of planes I suppose.

It isn't the size of the licence which matters, its how you use it...
