Megablitz game announcement!

I am planning to run a Megablitz game at the Shrivenham Military Academy (near Swindon) on Saturday 9th June 2012. My thanks to Tom Mouat for facilitating this.
The scenario has yet to be finalised but I think we may be due for another trip to the Eastern Front.
The game will use considerable numbers of 20mm toys and players will command divisions, corps or armies.
The cost of the day (including a lunch) is likely to be in the region of £10.
At the present time I am seeking expressions of interest, with payment not being required until the end of April.  Please either see the post on the discussion group or leave me a (not to be published) comment here containing your name and email address.
Further announcements will be made on this blog and the Megablitz Discussion Group.
The cast list so far (22/03/2012):
Tim Gow,  Martin Rapier,  Phil Steele, Alex Kleanthous, Guy Farrish, Tom Davis, John Bassett, Jim Wallman, Chris Ager, Chris Kemp, Fred Cartwright, Patrick Wingfield

I'd love to, but will be this side of the pond. Please find enclosed a virtual cheque for 10pds to cover my virtual attendance.

    Cheers

It's as if you're virtually here! I wonder if we could do a live Skype link-up.....

I'd be game if we can make it work. It's a 7 hour time difference right now (we don't do DST in SK) so timing will be key!

  7. Tim,

Much to my regret (and I really, really wanted to be there!) I shall be unable to attend as I am already booked up on 9th June ... and I cannot get out of it!

    Perhaps next time?

    All the best,

    Bob

I'll have a think - at the very least there'll be loads of photos.

Thanks - I'm sure that if I can pull a decent crowd it'll be a good day.

  13. Hi Tim, although I would love to attend I shall be stuck here down under battling the onset of winter.

Ensure you take mega pixels of the megablitz experience.

    Apologies all round.
