Dyle 'M' for Megablitz - part 3

The (really quite good) tanks of 3 DLM ready to see off the Boche.  The 'S' marker indicates that the brigade has 'Static' orders - no fancy fire and movement here!  Models by RAFM and Skytrex.  The few buildings actually represent a decent sized town about 3-4km across.
More uncensored reports from the front now.  For the benefit of those of you who weren't there, the game ran from around 1000 to 1600 the same day and covered about 3-4 days of 'game' time.
At last - the RAF!  John C's beautiful Fairey Battle alarms the Germans - in this case the rear echelons of 2PD.

7 North African ID moves up - clearly worried about air attacks!  These are mostly Spanish Civil War figures from the old Hotspur range.

3 DLM and 2 PD come to blows.  Goody - a proper tank battle at last!

The French continue to hold up 2 PD - but not for much longer!
The Sapper Btl of 3 DLM (yes it's that Somua again!) launches a spirited counterattack on the rear of 3 ID(mot)
A messenger from the Royal Navy (none other than Wg  Cdr Luddite - right) arrives to tell the CO of 44 Div (Chris Ager) to pull back to the channel ready for evacuation - but - and this in a very loud voice - "Don't tell the French!"  This produced genuine dismay in a number of the French players who, like their historical counterparts, felt let down and betrayed by their allies.
By now the action is concentrated on the western pair of tables.
7 PD arrives.
