Forbodian Artillery - part 3

I managed to make some progress this week with the batch of 1/32 scale figures which has been infesting my modelling table for some time now.  As a result, the army of the Kingdom of Forbodia has taken another tottering step towards readiness.
First up are these gunners.  Previous posts have featured the Guard Battery, and this is now joined by two Line Batteries.  The gunners are from the same box of A Call To Arms British Napoleonics as before, but with different coloured epaulettes and shako plumes.
A 3-man crew serving a classic Britains 4.7in gun.
Both batteries in action.
Coming soon - divisional and brigade staff, engineers and medics.

  1. Tim Gow,

You are doing better than I am.

I have had to follow an easier/different option (see my recent blog entry) to put my army together. Mind you, I have already had ideas as to how I can use the figures I am acquiring for other games as well (e.g. 'Battle Cry' in 54mm on Hexon hexes).

Onwards and upwards ... and back to Ebay!

    Al;l the best,

    Bob

  4. Nice gun bunnys (that's the American slag for cannoneers ). I haven't started the Garden Wars troops yet but I have decided on their uniform colors, blue-gray tunic and light gray trousers, with arm of service
stripe down the trouser seam (Blue-infantry, Red-Artillery/Engineers,
    Yellow-Cavalry etc )

I expect we'll have enough between us for some sort of game!

Oh yes - they are proper matchstick-firing guns, albeit hopelessly inaccurate in my hands!

Dangerous yes, but not neccessarily to the enemy!
